Utilizing the Boss Factory, players can choose to upload their majestic creation on the Saints Row website, where players from all around the world can pick a model of their liking and download it to their game using a unique seven-character code that is shareable across all platforms. The breadth and depth of options are actually quite overwhelming, and apart from creating your own personalized Boss, the amusing part happens when the whole community starts sending in their own submissions soon after. The vehicle and weapon customization suite will also have to wait until the release of the game, so that’s definitely one more thing to look out for. In fact, the Boss Factory demo already includes ALL character customization items that will be included in the final release, except of course for the ones locked behind progression. There are limitless combinations to be had, and one great aspect of Saints Row is that the game will allow you to customize one side of the face from the other, which is a first for the series. You’ll start from the basic skin color and hair but will quickly move into emotes, groin size, and even prosthetics. You’ll get the usual presets and sliders available to you, but the magic really lies in how much of the character you can change and how many options are available to the player.
